Behold (Advent Series)
This Advent season, we’re slowing down—just enough to truly see.
To look deeply.
To notice Christ breaking into our everyday moments.
To hold hope, peace, joy, and love right in front of us.
To remember not only His coming at Christmas, but to see His Kingdom breaking into our everyday lives.
And to look forward with hope to His coming again.
This year, our Advent invitation is simple and profound: BEHOLD Christ.
Behold Him in the darkness, shining as Light dawning.
Behold Him in the waiting, as the God who draws near.
Behold Him in unexpected places — wombs, mangers, wildernesses, and even our own weary hearts.
Behold Him as Jesus: God with us, God made flesh in a vulnerable baby in Bethlehem.
To behold is more than to glance.
It is to pay attention.
To linger.
To contemplate.
To be transformed by what we see.
Advent isn’t about how faithful we are at waiting— It’s about how faithful God is at coming.
And this season, we’re learning to BEHOLD what God has done and is still doing.
We invite seekers, skeptics, believers, and everyone in between to experience the wonder of a God who comes close—Emmanuel.
