Another way to form community is through serving. When the people of God are willing to serve, the Spirit of God works through them to change lives. Whether helping with audio production, greeting a newcomer, or teaching our kids, when you serve, life change happens.
The following ministry teams offer opportunities to build community, develop new and old skills, and serve God through loving and serving the church.

Crew Team
Since we are a portable church, everything we use on Sunday is packed up and stored for the week. Then, each Sunday morning, a team of people shows up early and stays a little later to unload, set up, tear down, and pack up all of our equipment. If you like to work with your hands and serve behind the scenes, this team is for you!
Need: 4-5 more volunteers

RiverKids Team
This is a vital ministry for our church. We help kids take first their first spiritual steps towards Jesus and in his love. Help make a difference in the lives of the next generation!
Our ministry is DOUBLING with the incoming babies who are turning into toddlers and are entering their RiverKids Era! If you like to hold babies, play with babies, or make silly faces at babies, please contact us using the button below.

Welcoming Team
The Welcoming team makes sure our guests feel welcome when they visit and helps newcomers get connected to what God is doing at our church. From greeting at the doors to helping folks think about their next steps, there's plenty to do in this ministry team!

Worship Team
The heart of worship at Riverwalk is to cultivate an environment where people encounter and respond to the powerful and transforming presence of God through worship. Do you sing? Do you play an instrument? We are ALWAYS looking for talented musicians, instrumentalists, and vocalists, committed people who love worshipping Jesus through their gifts.
Need: 2-3+ instrumentalists and 2-3+ vocalists

Tech Team
The Tech Team comprises three parts: Sound, Slides, and Livestream. Each part of the tech team serves closely with the worship team and speakers to support the worship experience through audio and video technology. If you like computers, music, gadgets, buttons, or knobs and prefer working behind the scenes, this is the team for you. No experience is needed, just the willingness to learn and be trained on the go!
