Palm Sunday (3/24) marks the start of Holy Week! Two things will be happening.

1) POTLUCK LUNCH CHURCH

We will be having our annual “Palm Sunday Potluck” lunch-church where everyone is invited to bring a dish ( We will worship together in the context of having a shared meal, with scripture and prayer.

The theme? “Food From Home / Comfort Food.”

2) "Welcoming Palms” Donation Drive

We will join in spirit with other Boston churches in an initiative to celebrate Migrant Sunday with “welcoming palms”. Let’s capture the imagery of the palm branches waved during Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem by extending our hands in hospitality, particularly amid this humanitarian crisis affecting migrants in Boston. Let’s make Migrant Sunday a powerful testimony of unity and compassion.

As a church, we are trying to donate 10 fully stocked Welcome Baby bags for new and expecting migrant moms in Boston.

Step One:
Purchase items off of our Welcome Baby Bag registry on Amazon. Most items here are less than $20.  (note: you don’t have to get these brands, but all items must be new. See the full list here)

Because shipping takes a little bit of time, we will reschedule putting the bags together until SUNDAY, APRIL 7 or APRIL 14. If shipped to you, please bring the items in. If shipped to my house beforehand, I’ll bring them in.

Step Three:
We’ll coordinate a drop-off at Circle of Hope in Needham.
