Serve Week

Serve Weekend is Back — June 13–14!

The Justice & Service Ministry has put together another Serve Weekend, and we'd love for you to be part of it! Over two days, we'll be stepping out of our regular routines to worship God through action — serving the Boston and Massachusetts community side by side.

A quick heads-up: there will be no regular Sunday service on June 14. Instead, we'll be scattered across the city doing the good work together.

This year brings some exciting new opportunities alongside some beloved favorites:

🆕 New this time:

  • Cradles to Crayons — sorting and packaging clothing, books, and supplies for kids birth–12

  • Riverwalk Storage Clean-Out — taking inventory, decluttering, and reorganizing our church storage

❤️ Returning favorites:

  • Rosie's Place — preparing and serving meals to women in need

  • Brookline Food Pantry Baking — baking treats and writing notes of encouragement at the BTC

  • Abolitionist Mail Project — writing personal cards to incarcerated individuals in Massachusetts

Many of these are kid-friendly, and you're welcome to sign up for more than one! The more the merrier — so bring a friend, bring your family, and come ready to serve.

Sign up by Tuesday, June 9 so we can confirm numbers with each organization and coordinate carpools.

Questions? Reach out to JSM at jsm@riverwalkboston.church or contact one of our organizers directly. Full project details, times, and locations are below. We can't wait to serve alongside you! 🙌
