Most of us came to the Boston area asking some version of the same question: Who are my people?
This year's retreat is built around one of the oldest and most human stories in the Bible — a woman named Ruth who left everything familiar to follow someone she loved into an uncertain future. It's a story about belonging and loyal love. About what it means to choose your people when you don't have to. About what becomes possible when ordinary people show up for each other with extraordinary faithfulness.
We also want to be honest: this retreat is for people who are tired. Who are carrying more than they let on. That's not a failure of faith; that's honest faith. And there's room for that kind of honesty this weekend.
We'll have real conversations with each other and with God. We'll get out of the city and breathe for a minute. And we'll spend some time asking what it might mean for us — in this particular season of Riverwalk. Come as you are, bring what you're carrying, and let's spend a weekend figuring out who our people are and how God is calling us to be that for one another. We'd love for you to be there.
